Killer Queen Tickets
Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview | Syracuse, New York
Are you one of those people who just don’t love the Adam Lambert version of Queen? Sure, it’s Bryan May and the rest of the boys, but Lambert’s not Freddie. Well, there are more ways than one to see Freddie Mercury! Going to see Killer Queen is perhaps the only one that doesn’t involve dying and going to heaven. The longest-running tribute to one of the best bands in rock history is going to be gracing the stage of the Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse, New York, on Friday, 13th September 2024.
There’s no way to sugarcoat this. Going to see Killer Queen live is the closest thing to seeing the actual band in their heyday in 2024. They have to give Patrick Myers a Tony for his performance as Freddie Mercury at this point. He’s been playing Mercury for so long, the line between Myers and Freddie is very blurry. The show doesn’t just rely on the band members looking like the real thing. If you want to see this performance for yourself, hit the get tickets button now!
Patrick Myers didn’t waste too much time building his idea of a tribute to Queen! He’s been playing the Freddie Mercury character for the better part of 25 years now. If you do the math, you’ll realize it wasn’t long before Freddie passed that these guys burst on the scene. The main thing that makes Killer Queen unique is that they’re playing the characters on stage.
Myers turns into Mercury and tries to give the audience an experience that’s as similar as can be to what concertgoers in the 80s had with Freddie alive on stage. Most of the tribute acts out there just limit themselves to singing the music of a particular band. That’s just not the case here!
Apart from the Broadway-worthy character building, you can also expect impressive vocals from Myers. “We Will Rock You” is one of the favorites of the crowd at Killer Queen concerts, not only because it’s one of the best songs from the original band. It comes down to character building. You’re going to have Freddie on stage, making the crowd scream eeeeeh ooooh. Sure, other imitators want to do the same thing. Most of the other guys out there, though, don’t have 25 years under their belt playing the Freddie Mercury character. If you want to take a trip down memory lane or find a way to experience the next best thing to seeing the actual Queen live, Killer Queen is the show for you.
The Lakeview Amphitheater adds an entirely new dimension to the show. Most of the fans of Queen would’ve loved to be there at Wembley Stadium, for example. What were the best seats in the house there? It actually wasn’t the seats at all; it was the standing room on the field! That’s exactly the type of experience that the Lakeview Amphitheater is going to provide Friday, September 13th. To get the best spots in the house, you want to get there early. At least a half hour to an hour before doors. What you also don’t want to forget is to buy your tickets! Click the get tickets button to see the best imitation act, Killer Queen, live.
