The Better In Boots Tour 2025 stomps its way through 30 cities across North America, in states including New York, Virginia, Florida and Georgia. Including one massive boot kicking party here in Syracuse's Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater at Lakeview on 21st August, 21st 2025. Plus, the tour will be directly supported by “Wind Up Missin’ You” hitmaker Tucker Wetmore, with select appearances from “Austin” singer Dasha and sibling trio The Castellows.

Thomas Rhett’s seventh album, About a Woman, released in August 2024 features the re-written Whitney Houston smash hit “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” in the new form of, “Don’t Wanna Dance,” as well as songs such as “Fool,” “Can’t Love You Anymore” and “Overdrive,” which were inspired by a range of diverse artists like The Oak Ridge Boys, Alan Jackson and The Rolling Stones. To add some sweetness to this incredible cake, this entire seventh studio album, yup all 14 tacks, is a beautiful tribute to Thomas' wife of almost 12 years, Lauren Akins. “The content is very familiar because it’s all coming from my memories with my wife, whether it was from younger years to high school, to now, to future thinking about my marriage and all those kinds of things,” Rhett said in an interview. “I think my mission for this project was joy, smiling, and dancing. For the most part, it is mission accomplished.”
The whole album kicks off with the debut single, already a Billboard Top 15 hit, “Beautiful As You.” “This is an anthem for everybody who feels like they out-kicked their coverage,” Rhett said. “There was one day a couple years back when I was looking at my wife, and I was like, ‘Why in the world did you choose me?’ I get to be with someone who could easily be on the cover of a magazine, and I get to see her in all her forms – a partner, a mother, a friend, even a philanthropist. I just feel like I’ve got a first row seat at almost-perfection, if you will,” he added. “And like the song says, ‘Seriously, what is somebody as amazing as you doing with somebody like me?’”
