My Morning Jacket has released some of the most iconic titles since their breakthrough in the early 2000s. The Kentucky born quintet has impressively risen in ranks with each studio release, even without the backing of a major label. Their latest album, a self titled work released in 2021, has notably entered the Top 50 of Billboard’s Mainstream chart. This was not the first time they made waves on the charts. Their 2008 effort, Evil Urges, made a phenomenal breakthrough into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, while the following effort, Circuital, soared to number 5.
